Spotlight on Cyndi Ortiz:
The Heart & Soul Behind Liminal Lemonade
Some career pivots are gentle, gradual shifts. Others? They’re the kind of plot twist that would make a Hollywood screenwriter jealous. Meet Cyndi Ortiz, former TV and film Producer turned Reiki Practitioner and Psychedelic Coach. After two decades in the high-stress entertainment industry, Cyndi found herself at a crossroads. A health crisis forced her to re-evaluate everything, leading her to step into the world of energy healing and psychedelic guidance. Now, through her business, Liminal Lemonade, she’s helping others navigate their own transformational journeys.
What is Liminal Lemonade All About?
Cyndi’s work is as unique as its name. She offers Reiki Energy Healing (remote, in-home, or at her southeast Denver studio), 1:1 and couples Psychedelic Coaching and Guidance, and is expanding to retreats, workshops, and sound healing in 2025. Her goal? To create a safe, intentional space for people exploring the profound healing, growth, and self-discovery possible through reiki and psychedelics.
Cyndi specializes in working with those who are new (or new-ish) to reiki and psychedelic experiences. She serves as a trusted guide—helping first-timers demystify and destigmatize psilocybin use for personal growth. She’s also a passionate advocate for shifting the broader conversation around psychedelics, supporting more research, access, and education.
The Journey to Liminal Lemonade
Cyndi’s story is one of resilience and deep self-trust. After a life-altering health scare in 2022, she turned to psilocybin—the same way she had done annually for personal reflection—but this time, the experience handed her a roadmap to a sustainable, purpose-driven life. That moment sparked the creation of Liminal Lemonade, a business rooted in intentionality, healing, and personal transformation.
What Fuels Her Growth?
Beyond her expertise, Cyndi attributes her business growth to her own inner work. By working with reiki and psilocybin through microdosing and macrodosing, she’s been able to build the foundation of her business while continuously clearing personal roadblocks. She also invests in her own coaches and teachers, ensuring she stays aligned with her purpose.
Words of Wisdom
When it comes to launching a business, Cyndi swears by one golden rule (even if it doesn't always come easy): Don’t wait for perfection. “Good enough is the perfect place to start,” she says. Businesses evolve, and the real magic happens when you learn on the job. The here and now is just the beginning.
